I’m Missey.

I’m passionate about living a life that’s happy and healthy.

I found my pathway to a wellness lifestyle while I worked in a big corporation under terrible stress that nearly sucked the life out of me.

Years of working long hours, neglecting my personal needs took their toll, when my doctor warned me about the danger of facing burnout and the cost of poor health, I knew I had to be serious about making a change.

Changing my priorities and putting myself first transformed my world.

The benefits of this change are a boosted energy level, a clearer mind, feeling lighter physically and mentally as all the heavy burdens were lifted. People started to comment on how well and happy I looked.

Back in 1990s, I became a vegetarian, but in Melbourne when there was only tomato salad or veggie pasta available. I love my food and I found this was not acceptable, so I began to focus on developing nutritious vegetarian foods that made me happy and gave me plenty of energy.

Today, thirty years later I’m coaching busy businesswomen who are struggling with similar problems to achieve a successful work-life balance.

I’m happy to pass on my practical knowledge and skills through down-to-earth teaching that ensures fast results.

This is a no-nonsense holistic approach covering mindfulness, healthy eating, and relationships. Living your wellness dream becomes possible and real.

A defined mindset is a key to all success. I wake up in a blissful state of mind from what I used to feel like a downward spiral.

By being truthful to myself I understand what I really want in my life and acknowledged the cost of not taking action, and I committed to a 180-degree change to get there.

With more than 30 years of knowledge and skills, I learned the practical, effective ways to look for ingredients, prepare and cook tasty nutritious food and save time.

Being organised and planning ahead helped me gain precious time without stress, so I could use it to improve my relationships with important things and people in my life.

I’m an author and regular contributor of simple easy and delicious vegetarian recipes on social media platforms.

My eBook “Top 5 Recipes for Vegetarian Beginners” has been helpful for people transitioning into the vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.

Another eBook I published ‘Exercise for Pregnant Women’ helps clarify the myths and provides simple, effective, and safe exercises for women during their pregnancy.

Since 2016, I started blogging my food and wellness journey using Instagram to demonstrate it doesn’t have to be overwhelming when transitioning from where you are to where you want to be.

I produced over 85 videos to answer questions relating to food and wellness through my YouTube channel called “Zen of Vegetarian Food”.

Over the years, I continue to conduct regular online webinars, workshops, and Zoom meetings about wellness and relationships with food.

Everything I teach is tried and proven, and I believe there should be fun and ease when learning and practicing.

A lot of concepts and ideas I encourage everyone to apply in their wellness lifestyle are based on common sense, and a little bit of imagination.

My audiences and clients include young people inspired to eat more vegetarian food and at the same time reducing their global footprint and impact on climate change; people in the process of transitioning into a healthy lifestyle, and many others who seek better self-care and self-love.
